Prop Arrowhead

Mediums: 1″ steel square stock 3/16 brass tubing

Overview: This arrowhead was made as a prop for a dystopian future short film in which I served as Set Director and Prop Master. As I was working with limited resources, I had to get creative. I cut 1.5” off of the square stock, and then proceeded to tack weld it to a plate so it could be clamped and cut using a horizontal band saw to get the rough shape. Final shaping happened using a belt sander. The bronze rod was soldered to the steel head and left rough for aesthetic.
