Mediums: Laminated ipe bamboo, teak
Overview: I made this bow as a personal challenge. This longbow uses a design called reflex deflex and I drew it down to a 45lb pull at a 29” draw length. It’s 6ft long overall. Once it was completed I took it to an archery range where I had their longbow expert test it out for me, and he was surprised at how smooth the action was for its draw weight. It also ended up being quite accurate within the tested 40 metre range.
