Simasticus

Medium: Custom software projection

Overview: Simasticus was conceived and made in collaboration between myself, Chuck Yust and Marcus Pingel during a 24hr game jam for EA Games and Parsons. We applied a Sims game-play dynamic to the real world where actual people and the public play the role of Sims characters and the game player retains control in provoking interaction. We made a software interface in Flash and used a projector pointed out and down to interact with people on the street.
